ESCWA is organizing a seminar on the importance of using blockchain technology for trade facilitation for Lebanon.
The seminar aims to:
- provide government officials and other participants with an understanding of blockchain technology, including its governance and practical applications in trade facilitation, benefits and challenges
- identify areas of trade facilitation in Lebanon, where a pilot project using this technology can contribute to facilitating trade in the country and increasing competitiveness.
