At the request of the Ministry of Trade and Export Promotion in Tunis, ESCWA is organizing a national training workshop on the Arab Trade Simulation Interface (ATSI) in Tunisia, providing technical assistance to member States.
ATSI, a tool developed by ESCWA, allows users to perform trade simulations and assess the impacts of alternative trade agreement scenarios on national economies. This workshop trains national trade policymakers to use the ATSI to build alternative trade policy scenarios and extract and analyse results. ATSI enables users to evaluate alternative scenarios of trade in goods and to assess potential global trade shocks.
