ESCWA is organizing an expert group meeting to discuss and validate the draft chapters of the Arab Sustainable Development Report 2024 (ASDR 2024), developed through a participatory process led by ESCWA. Building on the outputs and recommendations of the 2020 edition, ASDR 2024 is the second in the series of interagency regional reports produced after the adoption of the 2030 Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It provides a comprehensive overview of the main policy directions to achieve SDGs in the Arab region. The meeting brings together a dedicated United Nations interagency taskforce and a reviewers group of experts working on sustainable development priorities in the Arab region.
