ESCWA is organizing a capacity-building workshop to address development challenges in Egypt, in partnership with the country’s Institute of National Planning (INP). The workshop is aimed at assisting Egypt in constructing its own Development Challenges Index, which would support the country’s national development plan by gauging development achievements and shortfalls. The workshop includes the delivery of training materials to INP participants on the DCI, including its construction and use for development policy evaluations.
