As part of the Regional Initiative for the Assessment of Climate Change Impacts on Water Resources and Socio-Economic Vulnerability in the Arab Region (RICCAR), ESCWA is delivering a presentation on its activities to link climate change and disaster risk reduction during a meeting which aims to discuss progress made and priorities achieved by Arab countries in following up on the implementation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction.
The meeting also addresses preparations for the 10th and 11th meetings of the Arab Partnership in 2024 and preparations for the 6th Arab Regional Forum for Disaster Risk Reduction.
