Committee on Transport and Logistics

The Committee is a platform to enhance Arab regional integration and facilitate the flow of goods and passengers among countries and regions.

The Committee on Transport and Logistics was established in accordance with resolution 213 (XIX) of 7 May 1997, which was endorsed by Economic and Social Council resolution 1997/11 of 18 July 1997. It was established as a platform to enhance regional integration and facilitate the flow of goods and passengers among countries and regions. It participates in identifying priorities for ESCWA and member States in the field of transport and logistics; monitors developments and progress; and follows up on the participation of member States in international and regional conferences.
