Recognizing the need to enhance technological infrastructure across Jordan, ESCWA, in partnership with ITU Regional office for Arab States (ITU-ARO) and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (MoDEE), organized a national consultative workshop on “National Readiness for Immersive Technologies in Jordan”.
At the workshop held in Amman on 10 and 11 November, ITU-ARO and ESCWA presented the key findings of their draft report assessing Jordan’s readiness to adopt immersive technologies and gathered feedback from representatives of relevant national entities.
Participants collaborated to identify necessary recommendations and outline a path forward for leveraging immersive technologies to support national development in Jordan.
