As part of a training programme in Jordan, organized in the framework of the Regional Initiative for Promoting Small-Scale Renewable Energy Applications in Rural Areas of the Arab Region (REGEND), ESCWA is organizing an online webinar for engineers and practitioners on the water-energy-food nexus and its importance in the implementation of projects and programmes. The webinar, held in collaboration with “Taqaspace”, sheds light on renewable energy as an enabler of sustainable development, rural development, and women’s empowerment.
