Successful energy transitions need to be just and inclusive and require an intergenerational approach. Young people have an important stake in shaping the energy future and stimulate innovative ideas, capacities and inclusiveness.
Within the framework of the UN High Level Dialogue on Energy 2021, this virtual side event which is organized by ESCWA and UNICEF, will highlight the young people’s experiences, ongoing engagement and actions in advancing a just and inclusive energy transitions, opportunities to support youth leadership in promoting cross sectoral interlinkages between energy and other SDGs.
