As part of the Review of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action after 30 years (BDPfA), ESCWA is organizing a national workshop in Saudi Arabia, in partnership with the Family Affairs Council, to roll out the national review process for the preparation of the national report of Saudi Arabia. Participants include all relevant government and national institutions.
The workshop is aimed at introducing participants to the review process and the linkages between the BDPfA and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It underlines the importance of providing the Council with the needed materials to prepare a report that is comprehensive and participatory, and that provides strategic insights on interventions, challenges and progress with clear impact using updated disaggregated data.
