The third workshop in the series of project workshops that support the capacity building and institutional strengthening pillar of the Regional Initiative for the Assessment of the Impact of Climate Change on Water Resources and Socio-Economic Vulnerability in the Arab Region (RICCAR) was held during the period 26-28 June 2013 at the UN-House in Beirut in collaboration with LAS, ACSAD, SMHI, ISDR, WMO. This regional workshop built on the outcomes of the second Regional Workshop on RCM Applications and Analysis that was held in July 2012 and aimed at presenting and discussing the approach followed in RICCAR to link the outputs of the climate modeling projections to the regional hydrological models. Preliminary modelling results were presented by the project partners and discussed with the workshop participants. In addition, hand-on training was provided on the use and application of hydrological models.
