ESCWA is organizing a webinar that focuses on the reform and modernization of public administration systems in the Arab region.
The webinar aims to discuss the work of ESCWA in this regard and its role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Its objectives include:
- Providing member State representatives with an opportunity to share their views, priorities and practical suggestions for conducting knowledge transfer workshops, technical trainings, and other capacity-building initiatives.
- Laying the groundwork for a long-term project dedicated to identifying solution-based pathways for public sector reform and modernization in the Arab region.
- Exploring ways to facilitate the establishment of a regional governance and public administration network/platform in the Arab region.
