The United Nations Regional Commissions are holding a virtual side event for the sixty-first session of the Commission for Social Development, titled "Leaving No One Behind at the Regional Level: Adopting an Age-Sensitive Lens to Policy Making".
The session brings together representatives of Governments, civil society, academia and international organizations in an inclusive discussion.
The objectives of this event are to:
- Identify challenges and achievements in developing and revising age-sensitive policies across world regions
- Highlight opportunities for cross-regional learning
- Showcase tools designed at the regional level to support member States in developing and revising policies on ageing.
