ESCWA is organizing a two-day workshop to launch the Social Expenditure Monitor (SEM) digital dashboard for Tunisia and provide training on SEM tools to strengthen the capacities of Tunisian officials in social expenditure analysis and modelling. To ensure the sustainability of the SEM, this national workshop builds capacity among national policymakers, civil society organizations and academics to ensure better analysis of social expenditure effectiveness and efficiency. In addition, the next steps for future updates of the SEM and Tunisian ownership of the tool are being discussed.
