ESCWA Centre for Women is holding a training workshop titled: “Capacity-Building for National Institutions on Integrating Gender Equality in the Tracking and Allocation of Financial Resources, Assessment and Development of Human Capacities and Institutional Culture” on 27 and 28 March 2019 at the United Nations House in Beirut – Lebanon. This workshop is organized in the framework of a training program that seeks to build the capacities of National Women Machineries to implement the “Action Plan on Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women at the level of the national institutions in the Arab region”.
The program includes two capacity-building workshops, each focusing on a set of selected indicators among the 15 performance indicators that make up the action plan. The first workshop was held in February 2019 and focused on the following indicators: organizational policy and plan; gender responsive performance management; strategic planning; reporting and data analysis; evaluation; and gender responsive auditing.

- Knowledge generation and dissemination;
- Consistency.
Participants include officials of relevant national institutions working towards the advancement of women’s issues and involved in tracking and allocating financial resources, evaluating and developing human capacities, and institutional culture.
