Within the framework of the 7th UN Global Road Safety Week (15-21 May 2023), ESCWA is organizing a regional dialogue session to “Rethink Mobility”. Participants include representatives of UN-Habitat and World Bank, national focal points of the ESCWA project on the Arab Integrated Road Safety Observatory (AIRSO), and representatives of NGOs on road safety and sustainable transport in Lebanon.
The session tackles priority areas of the Global Plan of the UN Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021-2030, as well as efforts in improving sustainable transport and road safety in Lebanon and Jordan, and road safety concerns and grievances in Lebanon.
