The status of Syrian refugee women in Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon and their priorities for voluntary repatriation

This technical paper presents some of the challenges facings Syrian refugee women following the COVID-19 global pandemic and those of host communities in Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon. It also seeks to understand their perspectives on voluntary repatriation as well as their concerns, needs and priorities should they wish to return to the Syrian Arab Republic.
This paper also includes policy recommendations to the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic to support the mainstreaming of gender-related provisions in early recovery and reconstruction policies and programmes.
