Social justice matters: A view from the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia

Achieving social justice and leaving no one behind are urgent priorities in the Arab region. This pamphlet aims to provide general information and raise awareness on social justice and related challenges in the region. In addition, it presents good examples of the progress made by Arab countries in combatting the different manifestations of inequality and social injustice and highlights ESCWA’s role and contribution in support of these objectives. The pamphlet is intended for policy-makers and practitioners, civil society organizations and activists, researchers and mainstream media as well as anyone seeking fundamental information on this topic.
