Social and economic situation of Palestinian women and girls: July 2014 – June 2016

This report presents the main developments that affected the situation of women in Palestine between July 2014 and June 2016. Key events were the 50-day Israeli offensive on Gaza in the summer of 2014 and the surge of violence in the West Bank since 2015. The report also highlights the unique and complex challenges facing women in Palestine, some stemming from the occupation and others from protracted humanitarian, economic, social and political crises.
