Assessment Report of the Jordanian National Strategy for Older Persons and its Implementation Plan for the years 2018–2022

The National Council for Family Affairs in Jordan, in cooperation with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for West Asia (ESCWA), prepared a comprehensive national report to assess the Implementation Plan of the National Strategy for Older Persons in Jordan for the years 2018–2022 and identify the activities and actions achieved to uphold the rights of older persons. The report contributes to highlighting the gaps and shortcomings in the services provided to older persons, calling for further efforts to improve the quality of these services. The outputs and recommendations of the present report will form the basis for formulating a new improved strategy for older persons for the years 2023-2027 and its implementation plan.
