ESCWA and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) in Somalia are organizing a national workshop aimed at providing a space for participants, including governmental and non-governmental stakeholders, to review and validate the draft National Strategy on Migration in Somalia. The Strategy was prepared through a participatory approach under the leadership of MoFAIC, and the development process involved several stakeholders concerned with migration issues and included technical assistance from ESCWA.
