ESCWA is organizing a workshop to train policymakers on conducting simulations of the impact of policy changes on their country’s ranking in international indices, as well as on using interlinkages between indices to maximize the impact of policy changes, and designing short, medium and long-term policies.
The workshop aims to discuss the framework, statistical and methodological aspects, and outcomes of a series of international indices; introduce the features and functioning of the Index Simulator for Policymakers in the Arab Region; and facilitate discussions and knowledge-sharing among ministries.
