ESCWA is organising a workshop to shed light on the capabilities of its simulation platforms to conduct pre- and post-assessment of trade policies and economic shocks. The workshop aims at exploring mechanisms for developing a specific version for the Egyptian economy that takes into account productive sectors and trade partners.
The workshop also addresses the statistical data required to develop three specialized versions at different stages, including the commodity trade platform in 2024, the services trade platform and the carbon tax on foreign trade platform.
