This meeting is intended to operationalize the Humanitarian-Development-Peacebuilding (HDP) nexus through a risk-informed human security approach. It is aimed at taking stock of member States’ national development priorities in advancing their transitions towards recovery and stability. It also explores how the suggested HDP nexus approach benefits national stakeholders in supporting their transition goals. The meeting examines lessons learned from global experiences on the implementation of the triple nexus approach, and addresses tools, approaches and national mechanisms for its implementation.
