ESCWA is organizing an online workshop for students of Al Albayt University in Jordan, in collaboration with the student chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers at the university. The workshop seeks to raise the awareness of students on the potential of renewable energy to promote rural development and the nexus among water, energy and food.
This event is part of a series of workshops conducted within the framework of the Regional Initiative to Promote Small–Scale Renewable Energy Applications in Rural Areas of the Arab Region (REGEND) to empower young people and women in Jordan.
