Within the framework of technical support provided by ESCWA to the Land Transport Authority of the Libyan Ministry of Transportation in the field of “using modern technology to plan and manage mass urban transport networks in Libyan cities,” three remote workshops are being held as follows:
- Reality of mass urban transport in Libyan cities
- General principles for mass urban transport network management
- Software tools to support mass urban transport operation
ESCWA experts and representatives of the Land Transport Authority are participating in the workshops, which include a review of the components of a road map to improve mass urban transport services in Libyan cities.
