ESCWA is participating in the intergovernmental group of experts meeting organized by UNCTAD on consumer protection and competition law and policy. The event brings together relevant authorities and stakeholders from member States, experts and international organizations and aims at addressing challenges, exchanging experiences and best practices, and enhancing cooperation.
The event highlights ESCWA initiatives in this regard and presents the outcomes of the inaugural Arab consumer protection forum, launched in the Kingdom of Bahrain in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and UNCTAD.
