UN ESCWA, UN-Habitat and the Quality of Life (QoL) Programme in Saudi Arabia have partnered to design the global QoL Initiative, which aims to develop a comprehensive, human-centric concept of quality of life as well as innovative knowledge and tools to measure and ultimately improve quality of life for urban populations.
As part of this global QoL Initiative, the three partners are organizing the Arab Youth Photo Competition on QoL in Cities. The competition offers the opportunity to showcase the beauty, challenges, and innovations that shape urban living from a youth viewpoint in the Arab region. Arab youth are encouraged to unveil to the world, through photos, what a decent QoL in cities means to them.
