Road vehicle designed to use real-time traffic information, to be connected to and cooperate with other vehicles, with transport infrastructure and with vulnerable road users. Automated vehicles are developed with the aim of progressively taking over driving tasks, in order to improve road safety, traffic efficiency and comfort and be fully integrated in road networks and public transport systems.
