Dynamics and unintended effects of unilateral coercive measures against the Syrian Arab Republic

The study provides an analysis of the unintended impact of sanctions imposed against the Syrian Arab Republic, through an evidence-based approach based on a mix of quantitative and qualitative methods. In addition to the literature review, the experts’ views, and qualitative analysis, the study offers insights into citizens’ perspectives in the Syrian Arab Republic. It also tackles the unintended consequences of sanctions on those delivering humanitarian aid and concludes with recommendations aimed at mitigating those consequences.
