What: ESCWA launches its new report on “Rethinking Fiscal Policy for the Arab Region”.
When: On Friday 22 December 2017, at 10:00 am.
Where: ESCWA headquarters, UN House, Riad el-Solh Square, Beirut.
Why: The report revolves around fiscal policies in the Arab region and whether or not they are up to the task of the 2030 Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The report calls for revisiting the current fiscal policies and suggests major visions towards new directions required to realise a more productive, inclusive economy and society in the region.
