To support policymakers in Arab countries in developing their national policies and guidelines for enhanced e-Accessibility, ESCWA and the General Information Authority (GIA) in Libya organized a consultative workshop on the National Digital Accessibility Policy on 25 June.
The workshop highlighted main concepts of digital accessibility policies, the ESCWA templates developed under the ADIP project and the related interactive tools.
Representatives of public institutions involved in the development and implementation of digital policies discussed a draft e-Accessibility policy developed in coordination with ESCWA. They also learned about the best regional and international practices in digital accessibility policies.
