Executive Secretary visits former President Sleiman

          Beirut, 7 August 2017 (Communication and Information Unit) -- United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Executive Secretary of ESCWA Mohamed Ali Al-Hakim visited today President Michel Sleiman in his Yarze residence.

          Both sides discussed the Commission’s activities in Lebanon and the region.

         They also tackled economic and social issues in addition to the National Agenda for the Future of Syria program initiated by ESCWA over three years ago.
