The opening was attended by the Head of the Central Agency for Organization and Administration (CAOA) Mr. Saleh Sheikh, the Deputy Minister of Planning for Administrative Reform at Ministry of Planning, Monitoring and Administrative Reform Ms. Ghada Labib, and the Director of International relations at the Ministry of Planning, Monitoring and Administrative Reform Ambassador Khaled Shamaa.
After reviewing and discussing the Common Framework, each participating team presented the experience of their institutions in the use of information technology in public administration in general and human resources management and made recommendations on how to use information technology to develop, implement and use the Common Framework.
At the end of the workshop, participants agreed to: finalize and design the Common Framework; prepare for a high-level ministerial meeting to introduce and approve the Common Framework; develop training manuals on the competencies of the Common Framework; and develop an online training program.
ESCWA delegation also conducted a field visit to CAOA where they reviewed and assessed the Central Capacity and Competency Assessment System.
