ESCWA is organizing a series of capacity-building workshops on preparing project concept notes and proposals to facilitate access to biodiversity finance. The workshops target members of the Multi-Stakeholder Platform For Protecting Biodiversity in the Arab Region working groups to equip them with the knowledge and skills to turn project ideas into proposals capable of securing diverse financial sources for successful implementation.
The series includes four sessions covering the following topics:
- Module 1: Understanding project context and identifying problems
- Module 2: Setting goals and envisioning impacts
- Module 3: Budgeting for project success
- Module 4: Managing risks, monitoring, and evaluation
