Among other things, the meeting aims to discuss issues related to trade facilitation including the draft consolidated WTO negotiating text on Trade Facilitation, present and discuss intra-regional Arab trade - its development, how to explore the available opportunities to enhance its role in supporting regional integration and sustainable development in the ESCWA region. The meeting will also discuss issues related to Aid for Trade including member countries benefits, particularly least developed countries. National committees on Trade and Transport (NTTFC) in ESCWA member countries will also be discussed. The meeting will provide a forum for exchanging experiences good practices.
