Definition:

Railway transport between a place (of loading/embarkation or of unloading/disembarkation) in one country and a place (of loading/embarkation or of unloading/disembarkation) in another country. It may involve transit through one or more additional countries.
Note: To avoid double counting, each country only counts the number of passengers or the weight of the freight transported on its territory.
