COVID-19 increasing food insecurity in Syrian Arab Republic
June 2020

The alarming increase in the price of agriculture inputs, fertilizers and oil, and the newly imposed sanctions on Syria, raise concerns about future food shortages. This article suggests some policy recommendations to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on food security in Syria.
