On 8 and 9 March, ESCWA organized a workshop on integrated national financing tools and frameworks to provide technical and advisory support to the Government of Egypt in the field of financing for development.
ESCWA showcased the financing for development tools, functionalities, and policy findings of the dynamic tools developed for this purpose, including the SDG dashboard, SDG-costing calculator, SDG financing simulator, SDG optimization toolkit, and SDG public investment efficiency barometer.
The workshop advanced actionable steps towards the implementation of the three outcomes emanating from the discussions held between the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and ESCWA last December in Cairo.
