To ensure the delivery of an efficient social assistance programme through a systematic ongoing analysis, ESCWA and the National Aid Fund (NAF) in Jordan organized in Amman a workshop on “Quantitative Analysis in Support of Evidence-Based Policy Making in Social Protection” from 25 to 29 July.
ESCWA introduced high-level policymakers and technical experts to its analytical framework designed to deliver an assessment of social assistance programmes and identify ways to improve them, through obtaining evidence and making data-driven policy recommendations.
