On 27 January, Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University hosted ESCWA Executive Secretary Rola Dashti for a talk with students from the Master‘s Programme on Women’s Studies, during which she highlighted the role of women in breaking the glass ceiling and challenges she has faced in her career.
Dashti shared her story with the students, recalling a path far from effortless. She said that her struggle was that of all patriotic women serving their country each in her own way, be it at home or through participation in public life.
Dashti also expressed her gratitude for previous generations who paved the way for her and other women to dare to dream and reach their goals.
