UNSD and ESCWA organized a virtual workshop on data modelling and Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) reporting using Statistical Data and Metadata Exchange (SDMX) standards.
The workshop brought together statisticians and information technology (IT) specialists from various national statistical offices in the Arab region. It also tackled data and metadata exchange within countries and between national offices and international organizations.
The workshop consisted of three webinars held on 16, 18 and 22 June, during which over 55 participants from 15 countries shared experiences and plans for the implementation of automated data and metadata exchange for statistical indicators, with a focus on SDG reporting.
