Blockchain is one of the most promising technologies with an impact on almost all sectors. Its adoption of public service provisions can improve confidence, transparency and security.
ESCWA and the Agency of Digital Development in Morocco organized on 24 February a virtual workshop on blockchain policies and applications, gathering representatives from public institutions involved in the development and implementation of digital policies.
ESCWA introduced the main blockchain concepts and highlighted the best regional and international practices in developing related policies. Participants also discussed current and planned projects of the Agency that can use blockchain.
